Dudhsagar Waterfall is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Western Ghats, located inside the protected forest landscape of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary near Mollem, Goa. The waterfall is famous for its enormous cascade surrounded by dense green forests and the railway bridge crossing the mountainside. The name Dudhsagar translates to “Sea of Milk,” inspired by the white, foaming appearance of the cascading water. The Goa Forest Department describes Dudhsagar as one of Goa's major waterfalls within the Bhagwan Mahavir protected area.
