Medical Disclaimer

• The Kuari Pass Winter Trek is a high-altitude adventure activity involving cold temperatures, snow, uneven terrain, prolonged walking and changing weather conditions.
• All participants must ensure that they are physically and medically fit to undertake the trek. Anyone with a history of heart conditions, respiratory problems, severe asthma, uncontrolled blood pressure, recent surgery, serious injuries or any other medical condition that may be affected by altitude or strenuous activity should consult a qualified medical professional before participating.
• Participants must disclose any relevant medical condition, allergy or ongoing medication to the trek leader before the trek.
• Symptoms related to altitude, exhaustion or cold exposure must not be ignored. The Trek Leader may modify the itinerary, ask a participant to descend or restrict further participation if continuing the trek could create an unacceptable safety risk.
• Emergency evacuation, hospitalization, medical treatment and associated expenses are generally borne by the participant unless specifically covered under the package or applicable insurance.

Rules

• •Participants must follow the instructions of the Trek Leader, guides and support team throughout the trek.
• •The Trek Leader's decision regarding route changes, weather conditions, safety, turnaround time or continuation of the trek will be final.
• •Participants must maintain group discipline and should not leave the designated trail or trek alone without informing the Trek Leader.
• •Consumption of alcohol, narcotics or intoxicating substances during the trek is strictly prohibited.
• •Smoking should be avoided, particularly at high altitude.
• •Do not litter. Participants must follow a strict Leave No Trace policy and carry non-biodegradable waste back from the mountains.
• •Respect local communities, traditions, wildlife and the natural environment.
• •Participants are responsible for taking care of their personal belongings, valuables and trekking equipment.
• •Do not damage plants, disturb wildlife or pollute water sources.
• •Participants must carry the mandatory clothing and equipment communicated by the organizer. Anyone arriving without essential winter gear may be restricted from continuing if it creates a safety concern.
• •The itinerary may be changed because of snowfall, weather, trail conditions, roadblocks, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.
• •Reaching Kuari Pass is subject to weather, snow and trail conditions. Safety will always take priority over reaching the final point.
• •Participants are expected to maintain appropriate behaviour towards fellow trekkers, local residents and the trek support team.
• •Any additional expenses caused by delays, evacuation, weather changes or circumstances beyond the organizer's control will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and package inclusions.
• •Participation in the trek indicates acceptance of the organizer's applicable booking, cancellation, safety and trek policies.
